Mini Session Photo Fundraiser | Greenville, NC Photographer

This is a difficult post for me to write.  It has been a trying year for me, as someone very close to me has been diagnosed with stage IV cancer.  Oftentimes it is hard to ask for help, so I am stepping up on behalf of this young family to help raise some money to help with their medical costs – if for no other reason than to take a small weight off their shoulders to not have to worry about how they will be able to afford putting food on the table next month.

What is a mini session?

A mini session is a shortened photography session, designed to give you a small amount of pictures at a drastically reduced rate.  It is a great deal for the family, individual, couple, etc. who doesn’t want the commitment of a full session, but wants a short & sweet photo session to get some updated pictures.

What is the fundraiser for?

To help a family in desperate need!  Someone very close to me has recently been diagnosed with stage IV cancer, and her family is struggling to make ends meet.  She is undergoing some heavy treatment to fight this cancer, including radiation, chemotherapy, and they are on a long list of medications.  She lives with her husband and young son in Raleigh, and they are having a tough time paying for all of the costly medical expenses, doctors visits, treatments, groceries, and even diapers for the baby.  It’s hard enough to raise a family on one income, but it’s even more difficult when that dollar has to be stretched even further to cover the cost of extreme medical treatments.

How many people can I bring?

You can bring whoever you’d like.. but keep in mind you will only receive a set number of images from the session!  If you have 6 or more people in your group, I would highly recommend reserving 2 time slots to allow for ample time for me to photograph everyone.  If time slots are not available back-to-back, please contact me and I may be able to fit you in at another time that day!

Can I bring my dog?

ABSOLUTELY! Please bring your dog(s) to the session!  ..I mean, who doesn’t love having a great picture of their pet?  Or better yet – a picture WITH their pet?!  I would love to take some pictures of your furry animals, so please bring them along and let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

I am donating my time and talent, so that all money collected through this fundraising effort will be given to this family in need!!

In addition, if you can make any other monetary donation to this family, they absolutely need all of the help they can get.  Please use the Paypal button below to do this or send me an email through my contact form on this site – no donation is too small!  I will also see that they check on this post if you would care to leave any words of comfort, prayers, or encouragement in the comments below.. so let’s rally and get some support going for this tough young woman!
