I purchased this domain name a year ago today. Â I know this, because my hosting company just renewed it for me! Â I remember when I was making the purchase, I was so nervous – what would this mean for me? Â How am I going to put this all together? Â What am I going to blog about? There were so many questions floating around in my head! Â The blog was finally designed and up an running by sometime in March/early April, and I waited until after marrying the man of my dreams to advertise myself as “Amanda Brendle”.
So after many months of directing people to my Facebook page, portfolio/client-viewing site, or blog addresss, I can finally send them to my WEBSITE. Â www.amandabrendlephotography.com. Â Music to my ears!
Many of you who know me, know that I’m pretty smart when it comes to computers. Â In fact, my middle name is ExcelSpreadsheet. Â I love designing things in photoshop, creating worksheets, and organizing myself with lists created on the computer. Â I can put together most anything, hook it up, get it running, all that jazz. Â But I just don’t get web design! Â For some reason it just hasn’t ever clicked.
So call me “Mrs. Web-Design”.. I’ve finally got my splash page! Â I am so thankful to cross that off my checklist, although I’m sure I’ll redesign it and play around with it a lot over the next week or two to get it “just right”.. I’m just thrilled to have something UP after all this time. Â Wahoo!
