Sweet Pink Zebra hair ties | Greenville, NC Product Photographer

I am a huge advocate for small businesses and “handmade” artisans.  I grew up surrounded by them!  Many of my extended family members are involved in small business, my mom runs a small family-owned business run out of her kitchen, my sister is an artist, and I have always been an entrepreneur (well, at least since I was a student in middle school!)

Anyways, I get daily emails from GroopDealz.  It’s like Groupon but mostly for handmade items!  Many of the deals come from small businesses and stay-at-home-moms.  Naturally, I immediately fell in love with this site.

I have purchased several deals over the last few months (and silly me never took pictures or blogged about how great they were… I’ve learned my lesson!).  I wanted to brag about these awesome hair ties I got, though!

I purchased this deal a few weeks ago, and thank goodness I bought two sets!  The listing was for a “grab bag” of elastic hair ties that have recently become pretty trendy.  My local clothing boutique shop sells some for over $3 a piece!  I knew they’d be great, so I purchased two sets (12 elastics altogether).  I received them in the mail a couple of weeks ago and they’re GREAT!  I’m wearing one in my hair as I write this.  🙂

I love these hair ties because they’re cute, functional, and they don’t leave that disgusting crease in your hair when you change your hairstyle up throughout the day.  They’re also super gentle in my hair – no more risking yanking out my hair in the morning if I sleep with my hair up, AND they’re great for the gym!

So there’s my little brag post.  Go check out Sweet Pink Zebra‘s online store!  She’s great!
